Jewish National Fund of Canada is looking for a National Manager of Projects in their Toronto office.
The role will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
• Managing inventory of all projects, including funds received from donors and funds spent on the projects
• Tracking progress of the projects
• Preparing monthly financial reports for directors and CFO/CEO
• Communicating with partners/agencies/liaison in Israel
• Ensuring timely collection of receivables
• Arranging dedications and plaques
• Facilitating visits for donors
• Preparing citations and certificates
• Processing gifts
• Reconciling gifts on a monthly basis with Accounting department
• Expediting bequests and estates
• Tracking donated bonds and life insurance policies
• Overseeing sale of shares and bonds from project donations
• Mailing project receipts
• Preparing year end auditors working papers related to projects

Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• 3+ years experience in a fast paced business environment
• Post secondary degree or diploma required
• Experience with Sage or Raiser’s Edge an asset
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English (French or Hebrew is an asset)
• Meticulous record keeping and organizational skills
• Financial literacy with an understanding of various donation types (stocks, bonds, bequests)
