Senior Marketing Manager

Maternity Leave contract position (October 2022-December 2023)

Job Description

Jewish National Fund of Canada is searching for a Senior Marketing Manager. Remote work is available. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can execute our marketing efforts and strategic goals. We are recruiting an individual who excels at developing marketing programs, has excellent writing and copy-editing skills, and strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities across Canada.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic (40%)

  • Execute overall marketing strategy (including social media, email, web presence, and branding), meeting target goals & deliverables
  • Project manage long-term strategic improvements
  • Work with Strategic Marketing Advisor (part-time consultant) to update strategy

National Marketing (30%)

  • Develop professional and effective national campaigns (in collaboration with Senior team)
  • Measure, analyze, and improve campaigns to maximize effectiveness
  • Develop monthly national updates (internal and/or external)
  • Ensure national brand image and messaging is consistent with overall marketing strategies
  • Creating new and effective ways to improve processes and workflow

Regional Marketing (30%)

  • Project manage marketing collateral for 11 regional JNF offices as well as national initiatives
  • Provide creative direction and copywriting support for collateral
  • Build marketing campaigns, strategies, and promotional plans to supprt specific events, programs and initiatives
  • Evaluate the impact of campaigns in achieving their stated objectives
  • Oversee the development of content for bi-weekly regional newsletters, email blasts, special events, and website
  • Create and copyedit marketing literature, press releases, gala event tribute books, yearly magazine and calendar
  • Manage the tasks and deliverables of 5 direct reports: Digital Marketing Associate, two Marketing Associates and two Graphic Designers
  • Ensure brand image and messaging is consistent with overall marketing strategies

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in a Marketing role
  • University/College degree with a focus on Marketing
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Can build strong interpersonal relationships
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Extremely creative
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies
  • Experience managing a team
  • Highly organized with attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize based on the organization’s needs
  • Experience in copy writing / proof reading
  • Hebrew and French and previous experience working for a charity, an asset
