Rehabilitating a Beloved Forest

Tu Bi’Shevat is a special holiday where we celebrate trees and nature. It’s a time to think about how we can take care of the Earth and look forward to new beginnings. This year, Tu Bi’Shevat feels even more important because we’re all trying to heal and find hope after a very hard time.

On October 7th, many people lost their lives, and it was a day of great sadness. But even in tough times, we can find ways to honor those we lost and keep their memories alive. One way we’re doing this is by helping the Be’eri forest grow strong again. We’re planting new trees there, and these trees will stand tall as a beautiful reminder of those who passed away.

These trees will help us remember that even when things feel dark, there’s always hope for new life and a brighter future. Just like the trees, we can grow, heal, and find strength together.


