How will you stand with Israel?

Please support JNF Canada's Israel Resilience Fund in response to the attacks launched against Israel on October 7, 2023. 

You will have now seen the heart-wrenching images of our family and friends in Israel as Hamas terrorists infiltrated their communities, and murdered innocent men, women, and children. 1,400 Israelis were murdered, 200+ kidnapped, thousands wounded, and 500,000 evacuated and displaced. This is the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, and we are right there with you in utter shock and true pain.  

This attack has destroyed many communities, but it will never destroy our spirit. We stand together, as one Jewish community, ready to help Israelis in this difficult time.
JNF Canada is launching an Israel Resilience Fund. We've been close to these communities for decades, building Sderot, Ashdod, Ashkelon and others in the Gaza envelope. As periphery communities, they receive less support and services than metropolitan centres, and we will be there for them now in their darkest days. 

We are in regular communication with our close contacts in these communities about what they need most. The Resilience Fund will go to: 

•  Urgent disaster relief for the Gaza envelope communities – rescue and relocation services, temporary shelters and supplies, upgrading bomb shelters, support for emergency response teams, and other urgent needs as they arise 

•  Long-term recovery – these communities will need months if not years of recover and rebuild and will rely heavily on services such as trauma and PTSD care for children and families, strengthened security and shelters, centers to support rehab and therapy, elderly care services, and other post-trauma needs. We have long supported community building in this region and we will continue this mission with even greater determination.
