Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
• Working closely with the Chief CSP Officer and the Director of Operations 
• Supporting the CSP team and partners to meet strategic deadlines 
• Communicating with local & international partners 
• Tracking sponsorship commitments & payments 
• Issuing, tracking, and following up on invoices 
• Working with vendors & handling payments/accounting 
• Charging credit cards, bank deposits, etc. 
• Data entry and tracking through Blackbaud 
• Creating weekly data reports through Blackbaud 
• Sharing updates with Chief CSP Officer & Director of Operations 
• Attending board meetings & taking minutes 
• Answering phones and opening/responding to mail and email 
• Communicating with marketing team 
• Other tasks requested by Chief CSP Officer & Director of Operations


Experience and Skills Required
• 2+ years experience in a similar role 
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English (French is an asset) 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge an asset 
• Ability to work independently 
• Ability to set priorities and schedules to achieve deadlines efficiently

Office Administrator & Database Specialist

This mission took the role of planting trees, building water reservoirs, preserving natural habitats, and building parks and bicycle trails. More recently, JNF Canada has taken on projects to build the social infrastructure of the land of Israel for the benefit of the people of Israel. We partner with a variety of Israeli institutions and NGOs to build social infrastructure to benefit vulnerable populations such as youth-at-risk, victims of domestic abuse, veterans, and children with special needs. Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director & Campaign Director, the Office Administrator & Database Assistant has a keen understanding of accounting/data entry and is responsible for the maintenance of the donor database, and is a self-motivated and dynamic relationship builder who is helpful, efficient, and has an eye for detail. 

Job Description

Campaign Associate


Location: Montreal, Quebec Type: Full Time Min. Experience: 4
Jewish National Fund (JNF) Quebec is seeking a full-time Campaign Associate. Reporting to the Senior Development Director, and working closely with the Executive Director of JNF Montreal and the Chief Climate Solutions Prize Officer, the JNF Montreal Campaign Associate responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Campaign Associate Responsibilities: 
⦁ Supporting all aspects of CSP’s and JNF Quebec’s largest campaigns, including the Negev Campaign.  
⦁ Working closely with the Senior Development Director, JNF Executive Director and Chief CSP Officer to tailor asks and follow up with corporate sponsors and donors. 
⦁ Track contacts and donations made by donors and corporate sponsors. 
⦁ Supporting logistics, marketing, program development and administration of the dinner and related Negev campaign events. 
⦁ Liaising with the Program Director for all campaign related events. 
⦁ Cultivating, stewarding gifts and building solid relationships with an assigned list of donors. 
⦁ Maintaining regular communication and conduct one-on-one solicitation with an assigned list of new & existing donors. 
⦁ Supports Program Director as needed in the planning of major events 
⦁ Supporting in other areas that may arise from Senior management. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 
⦁ Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience including fundraising and administrative tasks 
⦁ Experience working on not for profit campaigns and major fundraising events. 
⦁ Strong knowledge of the Montreal Jewish community and donor community at large 
⦁ Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, English & French 
⦁ Superior organizational skills. 
⦁ Experience with fundraising software preferred

Marketing Associate

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:


• Provide marketing support for all JNF Toronto campaigns and activities

• Develop overall marketing strategy, including social media, web presence, advertising, messaging, and branding

• Measure, analyze, and improve campaigns to maximize effectiveness

• Ensure brand image is consistent with overall marketing strategies

• Develop and manage content for weekly newsletters, email blasts, special events, and website

• Update the website regularly

• Create and copyedit marketing literature, press releases, and gala event tribute books

• Work as part of the national marketing team and local Toronto team

Required Skills and Experience: 


• 2+ years experience in marketing role in a fast paced environment, non-profit experience an asset

Program Director


Location: Montreal, Quebec Type: Full Time Min. Experience: 3
The Jewish National Fund (JNF) of Quebec is seeking a Program Director to plan, coordinate and execute JNF’s fundraising initiatives, and build new opportunities for community awareness through special events and board engagement. The successful candidate must be able to anticipate project needs, prioritize and meet deadlines and be available to work some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities: 


⦁ Event planning for all Quebec based events 

⦁ Create, implement and update the Critical Path for each campaign or event 
⦁ Create budgets and monitor expenses 
⦁ Handle all event and campaign logistics 
⦁ Manage negotiations with vendors within budgetary guidelines 
⦁ Work with caterers, source and order supplies, décor, Audio Visual equipment, event signage and other day of print material (name tags etc.) 

⦁ Manage and oversee all event logistics for annual Negev Dinner 
⦁ Work closely with Executive Director, Chief CSP Officer Senior Development Director on all fundraising campaigns (High Holiday, Tu Bi’Shevat etc) 
⦁ Work with JNF Future Board- Young Professional Committee to: 

⦁ Create new and exciting fundraising initiatives 
⦁ Set strategic goals related to event planning, fundraising, leadership development, succession planning and volunteer engagement and outreach

⦁ Create fundraising and marketing materials with Marketing Team ⦁ Work with event and program committees 
⦁ Recruit new members for committees and board 

⦁ Oversee the Education Committee and coordinate all JNF educational events

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Senior Development Director


Location: Montreal, Quebec Type: Full Time Min. Experience: 5
Jewish National Fund (JNF) Quebec is seeking a full-time Senior Development Director to raise funds for the organization in support of our mission. Reporting to the Executive Director and the Chief Climate Solutions Prize Officer, the Development Director will be primarily responsible for soliciting corporate donations and sponsorships while creating new and maintaining existing relationships with major gifts donors for the Climate Solutions Prize (CSP) and JNF. 

Development Director Responsibilities: 
⦁ Soliciting for JNF’s major campaigns 
⦁ Researching, cultivating and solicitation of potential new corporate sponsorships and major gifts donors. 
⦁ Maintaining and building relationships with our current and new major gifts donors. 
⦁ Preparing private and public acknowledgments to thank donors. 
⦁ Developing a corporate/donor solicitation strategy for major gift prospects pipeline.  

Tasks and daily routines include: 
⦁ Developing strategies for the various campaigns 
⦁ Meeting with prospective donors to engage, cultivate and close donations. 
⦁ Calling and emailing major gift donors on a regular basis. 
⦁ Using Raisers Edge or Raisers Edge NXT database. 
⦁ Working closely with the Campaign Associate to ensure information is entered, track progress and action notes on donors or prospects. 
⦁ Working collaboratively with board members, committee members, lay leadership and other professionals on major gifts fundraising.

Requirements: 
⦁ Minimum 5 years of fundraising experience working with major donors 
⦁ Strong knowledge of the Montreal Jewish community and donor community at large 
⦁ Excellent written verbal and communication skills, English & French 
⦁ Strong interpersonal skills 
⦁ Work as part of a team every day but also can manage work independently. 
⦁ Proficiency with Microsoft Office 
⦁ Knowledge of a CRM database (Raisers’ Edge database an asset)
