JNFs around the world have agreed to “adopt” a community and JNF Canada chose Kibbutz Kissufim, a community of 260 people next to the Gaza border, where 16 members were murdered by Hamas, three kidnapped and dozens were injured. The terror attack left much of Kissufim destroyed and it's residents are experiencing loss, grief, and isolation. But the Israeli people are resilient, and they have the support and love from the Jewish Diaspora in Canada with them. We are rallying to fundraise enough to support their rebuilding of protected daycare, a youth club, a resilience centre, a social community centre and an outdoor park.
