Tribute Card
The area around the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem was de-clared a public park following the Six Day War, but had fallen into disrepair. The Restorers of Jerusalem Project transformed this park into a lush, peaceful expanse for all to enjoy with trees, flowers, benches, panoramic observation points and a path along the wall that is wheelchair accessible. Proceeds from the 2010 Negev Gala helped restore the section of the wall between the Jaffa and Zion gates which includes an archeological activity garden and a scenic promenade for the enjoyment of all visit-ing the ancient city-especially school children and the physically challenged.
