His voice is our story.
Daniel Wais was born on Kibbutz Be’eri in the western Negev. Daniel survived the attacks of October 7th but lost both of his parents on that horrific day.
After October 7th he began performing in different venues, sharing his story and his music. Daniel then competed in Hakochav Haba, the competition to become Israel’s entry to Eurovision and placed second. He has become a beloved figure in Israel, showing his strength and commitment despite what he’s been through, never losing his passion and purpose. Through every note he sings and every stage he stands on, he proves that resilience is louder than tragedy, and that even in the face of loss, the power of music and hope can still shine through.
