Cancer is universally devastating news. Regardless of culture or language, the life-altering diagnosis comes with questions, fears, and hope. Cancer is indiscriminate, so its treatment should be too. The new Beit Shulamit Cancer Center will diagnose and provide treatment for thousands of patients, serving Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Druze communities from both Israeli and Palestinian regions. Beit Shulamit makes it possible for those living in periphery communities in northern Israel to access cancer care previously unavailable and inaccessible to them.
The state-of-the center will house an impressive roster of departments and conduct world-class research. The unique design blends together building and nature, inside and outside, hospital and healing. Donation opportunities focus on providing meaningful outdoor spaces for the patients and visitors of Beit Shulamit to escape the reality of cancer treatment, if only for a moment.
