Rebuilding Kibbutz KissufimJNFs around the world have agreed to “adopt” a community and JNF Canada chose Kibbutz Kissufim, a community of 260 people next to the Gaza border, where 16 members were murdered by Hamas, three kidnapped and dozens were injured. Residents of Kissufim are experiencing loss, grief, and isolation. To support their recovery and their eventual return, we are rebuilding two playgrounds and daycare centre for their children, and a youth club for their teenagers, so that once the residents return, the community’s children will have places to gather, get support and recover from the traumas they experienced.
