After the Ballots: What's Next for Israel-U.S. Relations

On November 11, 2024, over 450 attendees joined JNF Toronto at Adath Israel Congregation for a riveting conversation with Lt. Col. (Ret) Jonathan Conricus, Senior Fellow at Foundation for the Defence of Democracies and Former IDF Spokesperson, and New York Times columnist Bret Stephens. Moderated by Jonathan Kay, the discussion dived into the big questions regarding ‘what’s next’ for Israel-U.S relations and what will unfold soon in the Middle East.

Conricus and Stephens shared their insights and forecasts for what is to come, and specifically dived into how the Trump administration will play a significant role in what is to come. Questions were submitted from the audience around the issues such addressing the antisemitic situations on university campuses, to which both speakers spoke very strongly about.

JNF Toronto would like to thank the event committee for all their hard work in making the evening the successful event that it was. Todah rabba!

Event Committee: Donna Cohen, Cal Goldman, Dr. Len Goodman, Dr. Irv Gottesman, Pearl Gryfe, Jay Harris, Ari Powell, Susan Rubin & Dr. Joe Trager.
