The story behind ADI Nahalat Eran Negev
Before 2022, there was no rehabilitative hospital in the Negev. Patients requiring rehabilitation due to injury or disability had to travel to the center of Israel for treatment – far from community and with added financial costs – to receive rehab care. Anyone who’s done physiotherapy or rehab knows how many visits are required. Traveling frequently to a larger city for care placed an untenable burden on patients and family members. Many were forced to abandon their rehab programs.
We spoke with founder and chairman of ADI Negev, Doron Almog, about the impact of this project on the community and people living in the Negev region.
